Been hearing from several conductors and engineers that there have been several instances lately where multiple managers have tried to ride the same train. One manager will get on at the departure point and perhaps another manager catches a limo and tries to get on at a red signal.. No coordination has been involved in this apparently. One super made a MTO get on the second engine and pulled seniority when he climbed on. And on another occasion one manager was forced to get off at a gas station and get a limo back.
Please keep having managers ride trains. This is very entertaining for the crews. Besides hearing them complain the entire trip, seeing the gaggle involved in the logistics of picking out a train they want to ride is priceless. Everyone fighting tooth and nail for the train that has no work events.
