People are always saying how Mattel has too much debt, but we're only $4 billion in debt.

The Board is so inept at hiring CEO's. They will continue to believe the BS stories from Ynon that live action movies will save Mattel. Why is Mattel making live action movies instead of animated movies that most kids would want to see? Oh, I remember, Ynon said we are not making movies to sell more toys. So therefore we are not making movies that kids would want to see. They will be movies that create a brand halo and enable us to sell everything else. What a bunch of c-ap. This CEO is inept, look no further than his executive team of losers. We are doomed.

The only question is how long stays Ynon at Mattel yet?

To all the alarmists constantly predicting Mattel is doomed, I have three words for you: Live Action Barney Movie. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ynons got this under control.

Yes that means that’s a licence company

A big part of the $650 million in cost cutting over the past couple years has been selling off and shutting down Mattel operated factories in both Mexico and Asia. Mattel is officially out of the manufacturing business.

Disney will never buy Mattel. They’re in the licensing business and not manufacturing.

Wants Disney to buy Mattel?

Mattel is not a toy company, it is a portfolio of world class transmedia IP that is rivaled only by the likes of Disney.

What’ll happen if he’s gone. Hmmm, I dunno’ know....maybe we’ll start making money again?
Don’t think we’ll have time to wait for our blockbusters’ 2023 release dates in theatres.

Ynon's contract is up in early 2020.
If that´s right. What will happen with mattel if ynon is not here anymore?

And thus once-great Mattel ends not with a bang, but a whimper. Ynon's contract is up in early 2020. He's got a death grip on the rip cord for his Golden Parachute and he's in the doorway, ready to bail out. All of Deckson's OT-V powers couldn't save Mattel! Down-Town, you have failed us all!

I feel like Ynon has not had much success improving the company outlook. I wonder how much longer he will get to turn things around. 🤔

Hasbro and MGA might have Frozen and LOL dolls, but Mattel has Creatable World dolls, I don't think anyone needs to worry about out sales this holiday.

It's "Come to Jesus Tuesday" for our Q3 earnings call and Buzzword Bingo time! Headwinds, constant currency, the TRU effect, the Georgiadis drain, the Down quandry, the Dikkson quagmire, the Goodman dance, the Kreiz conundrum, etc. All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Matty together again. https://mattel.gcs-web.com/news-releases/news-release-details/mattel-announces-third-quarter-2019-financial-results-conference

Earnings come out next week. The news can’t be good. This article basically infers hands are tied bc of the debt, and if the tariffs can’t be dealt with, the market hiccups, Frozen freezes out Barbie, etc, etc—cash flow implodes. This is a bummer.
