Not sure about the Humana part, but UHC is being restricted from enrolling people into the Medicare Advantage plan due to government sanctions: http://m.startribune.com/unitedhealthcare-plan-faces-medicare-sanction/563068872/
A member of UHC Medicare Advantage told a CAC that the member couldn’t use UHC Medicare Advantage next year (2020) because UHC was being bought by Humana. Anyone hear anything about this?
10/28/2019 will be the next wave of layoffs. Final day of work will be 11/6.
Re Open Enrollment, anyone think it's fishy that the deadline changed from Nov 11 to Nov 6, and Nov 6 is also the rumored date of the next big round off layoffs? Maybe coincidence, but my layoff anxiety has me watching closely.
The gutting of Talent Acquisition continues. They brought in a retailer to swing the sword, no clinical or managed care experience.
In Medicare Prior Auth , nothing last week. Open Enrollment was available today, but we are all on edge as some of our work was transferred to Philippines last week. It’s like logging into the guillotine every day.
