Is it an Allstate practice to immediately relieve employees of their duties upon receiving 2-week notices?

This was started to reduce negative behavior of exiting employees making negative comments to their peers. Unfortunately the removal of exiting employees causes much more havoc to customers and stokes fear in remaining employees.
Yes this started in 2018 I believe.
Skip the exit interview it’s no business why you leave. You are “at will” company doesn’t need to provide a reason for letting you go.
If employee is leaving to work for competitor, they are escorted out as soon as possible. Not sure when this started but it was noticed heavily in 2019
