One of my managers said they overheard in a walk-through with the DM that Daunt is down-sizing all B&N superstores.

from what i've heard, if your store's lease is up, it's closing.
The larger stores are the ones most in danger. Properties may be sold that are outright owned by B&N. Too much large space unused. Not enough business to pay the costs. Too little employees on staff to manage a big place.
Told you all this would happen . You better start looking for another job instead of wearing your blinders. It's going down like you all were warned. You're out of a job.....Good lucck.

The company was a wreck before...Daunt is a band aid... nothing more.
So you hung onto your jobs longer than the thousands fired-good for you, now do something smart. Move on, before you’re moved out !
