What are everybody's thoughts on this? I'm thinking consolidation layoffs will be brutal - not to mention all the collateral layoffs they'll sneak in despite having nothing to do with the actual integration of the companies.
I think we are looking at rough several months ahead of us.
I hope the severance package is reasonable, that is really terrible.
OTOH, they are paying you to go find a better job!
Well, four people from my group have been AXED this week including me. This merger is brutal and our customers, sales and employees will all suffer. Kind of glad that I'm out of there.
