No VSPP for the first time in the last 7 quarters. The writings on the wall they kept just enough of us to go around and repair all the garbage work done by their illustious contracting crew. As of this writing there are MULTIPLE openings for CTL areas....I&R posted jobs...trouble is CTL not hiring its W.C. doing all the hiring. for Unit work in our areas.
There are like 3 posted jobs as described at our HR Hiring site. Tech are being told that the contractors are here to stay. Like it or lump it. they are your equals ,they can bulk load jobs and horde tickets and futures while we are doled out work 1-2 tix at a time. They are not held to our standards, and are being used to simply "Close tickets"
As many as possible to try and catch up on the load which has been decimated by the failed software that dispatches us. all they have to do basically is get the battery from a to b. If it does not work then we have to go fix it . they kept just enough company techs to help them through the hump and the ridiculous hen pecking of BUZZ, call.upload tests, out of the yard no overtime unless you call to approve it at 2 pm and a host of other impingement's are designed to push the last of the Old Timers out the door leaving even fewer younger company men to be used...
Used? Yep used as scapegoats to show up in company vehicle and uniform to smile and correct all the shoddy work by the "beloved contractors who are here to stay. they spent as much as they can afford buying out most of the good techs, and now they will slowly squeeze the rest of us out one way or another and in all probability it wont be via VSPP that's how i see it have a great day and remember BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ
