cuts to contract service workers has already been underway. one contractor went from about 80 resources to about 12.
As for regular employees - some have left on their own and the actual cutting is going to take place in two to three weeks.

8hmm - true plus their lack of skill and inability to make a decision is one of the reasons the company is in the bad shape it is in. We get them cheap and its true that you get what you pay for. Im tired of having to do their jobs for them and worse clean up their messes...
Why doesn't Melville get rid of the L1-visa engineers? All they ever seem to do is wander the parking lot and engage in long, loud personal cell conversations back home.

1gdj - you might be right. I'm not sure who would want it. Very old, inefficient and expensive operating model. Primarily brick and mortar, E-comm that's pretty common and nothing special at all. Entire model geared towards installers in an increasingly Do It Yourself world.
On the other hand...MN not known for keeping his word and why would he want to neither confirm nor deny this if negotiations are still underway (insert sarcasm here)
I haven't heard to whom but have heard the negotiations are pretty far along. In the past I have heard names like Grainger. Would love to get more detail because this came up in two separate meetings.

Any word on ADI being sold? We heard they were close to a sale. Was this reduction part of the thinning of the herd prior to a sale?
Were the ADI losses new, or part of the previous wave from a few months ago?
Do you know if USA, APAC or EMEA?
ADI just suffered some loses this week!
Does anyone know if it is more beneficial to the company to do the cuts before the end of the quarter or to wait until Q4?
