Guatemala and Jamaica taking all the OCC calls, I see in the not so distant future other jobs being outsourced to cut cost. A lot of major players are up and leaving and I don’t see much of an Corp IT team in the nearby future. Which is sad to be honest. I truly feel nervous about what is going on, I want to ride this out, but feel I should also jump ship.

Keep in mind, nobody is under any obligation to provide a severance package…… That has, and will continue to shrink overtime.
Also an option, ride it out while actively searching for something better and hop on that offer when you get it! Jumping ship is scary but the security on the outside makes a world of difference. Good luck!
This has been one roller coaster of a year. No one knows what to expect anymore. Nothing shocks us anymore. You can’t stress it. If you enjoy what you do and the people you work with/for, stay and ride it out. Be present and stop stressing over the future. It would be nice if they were forthcoming with information regarding future layoffs, unfortunately that’s not how the company operates.
It's obvious what they'd prefer you do if you've been here for a long while. Weighing out your options isn't easy. Unfortunately, it seems as though there are lots of similarities across the corporate world in this country. They're saying Central Florida had over 2000 layoffs in 2018. The most since 2010.
If you would have told me 25 years ago that we'd be where we are today, I would not have believed you. Now I believe in 25 more years it will be unrecognizable.
If possible, I'd rather leave on my terms, but an ever dwindling severance check would still be nice.
Good luck.
