All leaders in SeaWorld are weak! If Gus could not stop these changes, the rest of our leaders in all departments are powerless and have failed.
I would like to see all SeaWorld leaders stand up as a group and tell the board “no” to these changes. True leaders are willing to risk everything even their job. Gus was a true leader. He risked everything. He is the only leader I respect and I am honored to have worked with him. The rest of SeaWorld leaders in all departments are powerless puppets being pulled by strings. Continue to sit back and do nothing and give excuses why you can’t make any changes because you tried but not willing to stand up. No leaders deserve our respect.

Ambassadors are not accountable to anyone anymore , the managers hide in their offfice, so they are not approached. Everything is out of their hands they claim, everything is out of control, what kind of people are they??
There are many people who support this massive call in day during the busy weekends of Halloween. It’s a lot of minors who want to do a “senior skip” day but in SeaWorld on the weekends.
I may not care about the lay offs as it does not affect me, but any reason to call in and see how many minors and my friends call in will be fun. Another senior skip day on the weekend! See you at the beach.
If someone thinks our president, who uses cheap labor for his stuff already, is going to care about lost jobs they are nuts.
SeaWorld is pro military. Many veterans like my self work for SeaWorld. We fought and protected the constitution. So how come when SeaWorld hurts us, we all fall back? We as Americans have the freedom speech, and should not fear retaliation. It’s our American right to speak out.
I think it’s time we all gather our voices nationwide and tweet and message our president on what SeaWorld is doing so SeaWorld can be they can be in the spot light. Let let everyone know they can not tread on us. We earned our time, we earned our benefits and all is being outsourced and they still plan on more cutting. Bring in a union and let our voices be heard.

I say we all get togeather and plan a walk out like said hurt there money as well as over inflated egos.
Let’s do what are Supervisors and leaders can’t do. Let’s stage a walk out and say this is wrong. The other poster is right, we have the power to actually make change. Our leaders don’t.
If all ambassadors got “sick” in mass droves for a week, they couldn’t staff the park. That would cause major issues and it would certainly get “the board”...I mean SR attention. Only way to make him care is to impact his wallet. Walkout on a weekend in October and it would be a HUGE problem. We have power, we just need to strategically use it.
I too have no confidence in any type of leader in SeaWorld. Can we employees plan a massive walk off? I am here for animals first, profit is secondary to our mission.
As a ambassador, I have no power. I am not in a position or title of leader. Are you saying all ambassadors are leaders and should take responsibility, because they canceled the last ECM and took our voice away.
Do you let your ambassadors make all the choices or are you the final word? I Get paid to vend. It’s not in my job description to lead. Another leader who is blaming everyone except himself. All of them should be fired so we ambassadors can run the park much better. Let us make the choices.
That goes for ALL "Ambassadors." They're only doing this because we've allowed it to happen.
