Oh, sh–. 3 people in HR. So, basically the whole department. Ah, so much makes sense.

I didn’t know we still had an HR department.
I heard one of the people quit after less than a year because of retaliation by her manager and VP. Apparently HR leadership was aware and did nothing to fix it. This has been a problem for years.
Unemployment doesn’t pay nearly enough so they got out when they could find something. Smarter that way. They will be mostly missed but I will say that one of them had some pretty shady practices and I for one won’t miss her.
Too bad they didn’t wait to collect unemployment unless they got new jobs. Great timing when stores are trying to hire for rush. One of the best HR person left. Good luck with the hiring process.
They quit when they learned their jobs were going to be eliminated. They beat them to the punch.
