Look people, you can express feelings toward the company the union, co-workers or threads you read from other areas of the company without all the bad language that fires people up to start with but this is not getting it done. This is almost like the political divide we are seeing in our country now. We need to treat each other with respect and work through all this.

well i see nothing that would support the idea that the OP was censoring anything? And i read your post, and i am here to tell you i have had posts that adhere to what you are saying removed. So Censorship is alive and well at "the layoff" what the criteria is ??? Most of what you listed. However it seems that if the company, or whomever complains about posts they can and do remove them? So i disagree 100% with your assessment.
OP is not trying to “censor people”, he or she is simply stating that being rude to others is pointless. Contributes to nothing and it’s against website rules, therefore gets nuked by site admins.
I’ve checked the content rules and also googled what people on other forum boards here say about what’s not allowed to post, here is the summary:
- Posting names and other personal info (you can probably name a public person like an actor or CEO, but not a coworker or middle manager)
- Foul language, slander and personal insults
- Derogatory speech towards groups and individuals
- Bullying others, making threats towards individuals or properties
- Advertising and asking for votes (any kind - political, corporate, union)
- Off topics (threads discussing political parties and such)
People also say admins sometimes nuke everything you ever written and block your IP. This is if they find you are being malicious on purpose, I guess.
I have never had a problem with any postings.
Yeah I posted a in a thread about the quality of Contractors work and what they don't know in the CWA negotiations thread and it was deleted, also stated that the Management has no clue what the workers do and just check off to do spreadsheets for the next level up to see they have completed a task for their approval ratings.

I did not swear , nor did i belittle anyone ....i posted real info? every time i do it gets deleted ? the company can not only read these threads, apparently they can request that they are removed
