Big announcements with absolutely no clue from the top on how to execute them. And more promises of clear communication but no answers. Meanwhile sales is frozen waiting for answers and Q3 slipping away.

Aternity is trying to make itself into some type of business tool but it’s not because data is different and business analyst not going to want to use it. Not sure if sales people or PM understands this but if push comes to shove, a ton of PS and projects will need to be sold to do the BI integration and no one in PS is a BizAnalyst or statistician.

Aternity will only be a tech tool that tells admins something is slow (whoopty doo) and point fingers at a SaaS vendor or to more obvious things like CPU, disk or memory - big deal, the admin and user knows this already and not worth renewing.

Aternity will fail to establish positive ARR with YOY TCV Dropping once the initial hyped sales phase is over.

I think Aternity is a bunch of bull. If my Outlook is running slow, it is supposed to be able to tell me (the Support person) where the bottleneck is? Based on what? The data collected by the agent? How does it collect anything outside the OS that’s accurate? Seems like rainbows and unicorns.

They do moderate this site heavily. Admins remove foul language, personal insults and similar malicious content. They also nuke posts containing names and other identifiers.

But I doubt that this site can be bullied that easily, judging by the number of different forums here (hundreds, most of them more active then ours). Sure, anyone can monitor this (and any other) site and any post can be reported via mail, but they don’t have the legal ground to ask this unless the content is illegal or it violates the site rules, so I think it’s safe to say that if your post is kosher it won’t get nuked.

Aternity is still hype. Too many agents on devices and security is more important and they’ll take precedent. Aternity is a still nice to have there’s a ton of ways to measure productivity without timing browser refreshes and actions. How’s recurring revenue for Aternity? Don’t care about total contract value. Is Aternity renewal 100%? Seems like you have a lot more to go

I have it on good authority that Xirrus were pretty much almost insolvent right when we bought them, they weren't going to be able to make their next pay run. Taken straight from one of the long standing Xirrus folk (RIP). Anyway - still no quotas.. no guidance as to whether our lost Aternity pipeline will be offset by lower quotas... Or not. Time to pull the ripcord I think.

Mid-way into quarter. Dow swinging violently. Cisco down to ~$45. I hope we are not affected too much by the China business. A mild recession won't be good for anyone. I still can't believe Xirrus was sold for ~$7m (I just read on this forum, I don't claim to know myself). That's less than their salary budget. Hope Aternity brings in some dough too.

The claim is the site is removing certain posts. The theory is TB and the spineless leadership is making requests not the grounds of defamation and probably for legal and “business” reasons.

I’m convinced these posts are being systematically removed to show or justify why a potential hostile takeover is suitable or to gain some type of sympathy from a potential buyer - in other words, “feel sorry for us, our own people don’t like us and we did everything right ... Waaah waaaah!!”

The fact TheTeam is trolling this site shows how much time they have. I find it hard to believe how these guys don’t realize they are the leaders of yesterday. The canned response is a reflection of this. I've survived this kind of thing before, and I must say, at that previous company it was handled quickly, professionally, and was obviously well thought out and planned to the highest degree of detail.
