Thread regarding ADP layoffs

How many recruiters have contacted you about a contract implementation role at ADP?

I am curious to know what others have experienced in this arena. Since being laid off from ADP, I am up to 19 recruiters who have contacted me about a “great opportunity” to work for their client ADP. It would certainly appear that ADP’s reputation has taken a beating. Anyone with any knowledge or brains knows better than to go back and do contract work for the devil.

What number are you up to?

I have had several recruiters contact me. Some of them have specified the requirements as: must have worked for ADP at least 5 years, preferably in National Accounts, not be a current employee, and have not taken the VERP. That leaves people who were fired, laid off, RIF'd or quit. Who's left? #smh

Make it 23 recruiters now. This is getting ridiculous at this point. ADP, this is not a good look for you...

Stupid is as stupid does. Didn't ADP know that you can't have lowly paid workers doing complex work. Since the low paid workers are demotivated and don't stay around long, expensive contractors have to be used. How about that for labor cost savings? Oops!

Make that 22 recruiters as of today. This is starting to feel like harassment. I tell each recruiter to place me on a do not contact for ADP jobs list. This is getting ridiculous at this point.

I am up to 21 recruiters now who have contacted me. I have noticed that the recruiters won’t list who the employer is anymore. I think too many people are saying no right away or are just not responding. Now recruiters are turning to trickery.

I finally got curious and asked what the pay was for a temporary implementation role - I was told $50 an hour.

It looks like too little way too late. It looks like the dirt cheap workers aren’t cutting it. I guess that saying is true - you get what you pay for.

There is no amount of money that could entice me to work for ADP again.

I have gotten contacted by outside agencies as well as internal ADP recruiters. It's like COME ON...get it together and quit contacting me after I said NO. Not going back there!

Quite a few have contacted me since I left ADP two years ago.

A lot. And I am a current associate. When I tell them I’m already at ADP they ask for names and contact numbers from my network of family and friends who may be contacted for the opportunity. Huh? Say what now?
