One of our mgrs has a big mouth.
Mgr called all the mgrs to office this afternoon. They emerged after 20/30 minutes looking like someone k–led their pet. The cafe Mgr told me,they were told ,our store is closing. Friday will be the last day. Is this just our store or are others been told this, also ?!

Can't stand this company, but I doubt a store will close in just a few days. The quickest one I heard of was 45 days. By law, they have to give 90 days to employees before a store closes, or they have to pay their employees additional pay to make up for the lost work (which is what happened at that store).
Stores don't close in a few days. THis is bogus.

Quite so. Either the OP heard it wrong or the post is FOS. I lived through one closing and was around to witness a lot of others, and none of them closed that fast. At the very least, the management team will know a couple of months in advance.
Of course, this isn't saying that the OP's job is safe–they might be announcing the store closing in a few days; letting the management team know a little ahead of time is SOP. If this is the case, then the OP should start immediately looking for another job, unless there are a lot of other BN stores looking for people nearby.
At any rate, it's a good idea to look for a new job.
If it's official, it'll show up when you google it.
I don't expect most to close until after the holidays- unless they're losing A LOT OF MONEY.
Ask your managers how your store is doing and if they don't give you figures, it's time to worry.

CANT FEEL SORRY for them. THEY DID THIS to themselves! Fire your best employees and you’re gonna lose a LOT of business.
