Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC stock drops below 50....again!

Market up today but DXC is getting knocked down. Heard that revenue may be down by 10%.
Wonder how Mikey is going to BS his way thru the Q1 results? Bad start to the new fiscal year for Mikey and his crew. Maybe the analysts are finally catching on to the demise of DXC?

Get a clue guys. This isn’t about selling it growing. It’s about value back to investors with cost action. Eventually sell it so Mr Mikey makes another batch of fortunes. DXC is a hedge fund company not a service company.
Keep your head down, do good work, enjoy your life but stop expecting a career here, it’s a means to an end. If you can, be grateful or get going. It’s never going to change as long as The MikJo are around.

As a current employee of DXC post stock price drop off, I am concerned about the direction the company is going? Why did the this occur? Who forecasts profit when it is not agreed to and confirmed etc. The company pays dearly in the long run using analysts and firms to assist in the reporting of / forecast of growth and profitability a big miss this round! Who is accountable and what are the implications long term? Think DXC needs to communicate what happened to its staff and employees etc.

Last 3 months stock prices...

IBM up 2.25%
DJ down 0.95%,
HCL down 8.73%
WIPRO down 12.22%
HPE down 15.29%
DXC down 18.43%

So you can see that whilst ITO is hit hard, there is one leading the fail charge by a long old way.

As always the Analyst's call will focus on the positives, if necessary cherry picking the areas where the company has delivered on Lawrie's promises.

The Street may, or may not 'accept it'. If the results are significantly worse than promised, expect a further fall in the share price.

He will turn on the charm and BS and wall street will accept it, doesn't matter in the end Lawrie will walk in the sunset with all his millions very happy - regardless what happens behind in DXC

The only salespeople left are those that no one else wants. The ones that DXC recruited post merger were lured with ridiculous salaries and they are stuck, because no one else will pay them that much money as a base. The result is a weak, ineffective sales team that is hampered further by the most ridiculous governance process. When combined with a brand that has an awful reputation, it is a car crash waiting to happen. Having successfully left DXC, I am now hearing first hand what everyone else in the industry thinks and it’s not pleasant. If you are able to get it then go as quickly as you can.

Can’t wait until the 8/8 Q1 results. Let’s see what questions are asked and how ML squirms.
Hope they ask hard questions that spotlights the demise of DXC as a business and the LOW morale that exists combined with the voluntary resignations ( not WFR) since volunteering to resign in mass is a sure sign that DXC is doomed and losing their best resources across the board meaning VPs, Directors, senior sales and senior delivery employees. No one selling; every salesperson has their resume on the street.
