Hi folks, found this site via google. I have noticed over the last couple of mornings that Manor Offices car park is even emptier than usual. The Derbyshire Times reported job losses were imminent but I thought that would take at least 3 months.

I left DXC under my own terms some two years ago. I could see the writing on the wall, and decided I'd had enough.
As said others have posted here, DXC has (deliberately) let go capable and experienced staff,. Undoubtedly they know the impact this will have on the service delivery, not to mention future projects and strategy, but the immediate as much as higher management no longer care. It's become a dog eat dog environment.
Chesterfield used to be a great place to work; friendly committed people, who were happy to turn up to work for our customers. How many of those left can honestly say that's how they face each new day at DXC?
They laid off some brilliant staff. Left others to pick up their work as usual. People being knowingly overworked now all because they want to please the big bods
A significant amount of people left on Weds (31/07), mainly through VR from those I know, not sure if there were any CRs in the round.
Some really great people have gone, hopefully on to some bigger/better things.
Not rocket science is it. Have a wild guess.
