I am NEVER buying or recommending Ford products again. The company wants its employees to become advocates for its products to others..... well the opposite is true. STAY AWAY FROM FORD everyone!!!!!

Over the last 20+ years I witnessed first hand, sadly, how this company turned into a heaven for nepotism, trophy wives, political correctness and incompetence all at the expense of good engineering and manufacturing expertise. I am little surprised seeing the quality issues they have, low morale and lack of engagement of the majority of its employees. It's sad but hiring pencil pushers as CEOs DOES NOT help putting out a good product and hiring and engaging people who really know what the heck they're doing. Sad.

If you are going to post, learn to spell. WEAK is the proper spelling.

Week leadership and management is my guess. People want to blame hackett for every little thing but there are people who have been in high level positions since before he came. Maybe we should look at all the problems we've had over the last 10 years (ex: trans, emissions, Chicago assembly) and look at the common denominators across our executive positions for those time periods...

I saw a friend last week who works in skilled trades at the Flat Rock plant. He told me that there are thousands of Explorers and Lincolns that were built in Chicago, have issues that require repairs right off the line. Chicago can’t fix all of them, so they are shipping thousands of them to Flat Rock to be fixed there. There are lots full of brand new vehicles that can’t be sold until they are repaired. So much for Quality is Job 1.

They're buying consumer credit data to create behavior profiles to determine how likely customers are to sue. They're pricing buybacks based off that data.

That is the world's most trusted mobility company. Hope everyone is pulling those modems out of their cars because they're collecting that too.

There are many other unethical things that corporate America are doing, which the public do not know about. It’s time to blow the whistle and put a stop to everything that we are doing wrong.

I think Hackett will become a case study in some MBA program on how to run a company into the ground in the fastest way possible. His handling of the smart redesign, his destruction of morale, his abandonment of the focus on quality, his mismanagement of investment in future technologies and products, and his lack of clear communication will be classes for tomorrow's leaders on what not to do. Whomever comes in and fixes this mess will become and instant hero of american business. Somewhere in Seattle, Alan Mulally is sitting there and crying.

The company is a joke under Hackett - they role out the “Seven Truths” this year, and then pull all this sh–. Total clown show, very disgusting......!!

My son had a Focus that had three different transmission repairs. The first was under warranty but the other two repairs were out of his pocket. He was working and attending college so those were significant amounts of cash for him. He finally got rid of it thinking it was a lemon. Now we have learned this was a known problem. He will never drive another ford.

Fast forward to May and I became a high performer whose job was eliminated and based on everything I’ve read it was because I was approaching a pension milestone. I used to be proud to work for ford and believed they were an ethical employer. I don’t know if ford has changed or if I was mistaken. Either way it’s very disappointing.

The company has lost all moral compass. This is something in my lifetime they will never regain.

Because it is happening, why would any sane person believe Ford can produce an autonomous vehicle that can be trusted to be safe??? I’ve owned quite a few Ford vehicles in my life, but doubt I will ever buy another Ford.
