There is a lot of re-org going on in IT. Usually, this is a good indication of future layoffs. Tony Toulouse wants to outsource everything to India. Bad leadership on all levels of Boeing.

Heard rate staying at 42 and no layoffs planned for now..
😂 IF they do hire another 400 people, it’s for sure a numbers game. They’ll be laid off in either SPC or orientation.
They did same thing in 2013. Hired something like 1000 people, just to turn around and lay them off so that they report to Chicago “reduction” numbers.
Luckily, for some, the 787 battery issue stopped the layoff bleeding and saved their jobs.
I just heard Renton announced HIRING 400 more people....
Whatever happens in Renton will trickle down. I am in Aub, MPRF. If they are laying off in Renton, I will get bumped out pretty quick. I only have 9 months in.
Should have received email notification about the noon webcast. Pretty sure it’s Renton specific.
