People keep saying some employees have already been laid off in the past several days, is that true? All I've heard about are voluntary early retirements being offered, nothing about cuts happening already.

The usually lay people off after the first of the month so they will have insurance coverage for the remainder of the month. Not this time, very sad. More layoffs coming. So happy I left earlier this year.
