Just curious on everyone’s opinion on how much longer will Windstream last, I’m a customer and have already seen big changes in them when I have trouble with my service, so I feel for the employees, and I’ve heard them telling people they no longer offer service in there areas also

If you are a customer, get another carrier asap. Does that help.
Most including me, so not care anymore. I'm not k–ling myself for these ppl. My best advise is to leave.

I'm gonna ride this s—er into the ground. Somebody has to turn off the lights.
It will be interesting to see if they keep the most senior guys, versus cutting them over the lower paid junior guys.
ILEC will be considered a utility and therefore cannot fail, as it provides 911 service to many communities. The CLEC folks... well, life is going to get mighty interesting. But, the CLEC is carrying a ton of ILEC traffic, which allows Windstream to skirt the tariffs and interconnect fees it should be paying. CLEC has a lot of fiber (well, UNITI owns it, CLEC maintains it), so the job will change somewhat.
Fixed wireless is not the savior that TT and his minions expected it would be. But, when the wholesale rates evaporate, we may very well see the "smart building" mentality – light a building, and sell to every tenant there to recoup costs.

Windstream is doing great, this is all evil Aurelius' fault. LMAO
Copper is a thing of the past, guys its over, yes they have fiber areas that are good but only a few. If you still work here, just being honest technology changes too much, get out find something else. You work for a company that is bankrupt, that should say it all
They really need to be out of business for all the unethical and or illegal things they have done.
"The CLEC carries the ILEC traffic....hard to just spin that off"
It is that easy! They will just buy services from UNIT like they do today.
It's just another fiber/copper vendor.
They spun off the outside plant and assets to UNIT. The ILEC business would be no different.
“Windstream needs to disappear as soon as possible.”
Yikes!
Millions of captive ILEC customers that send several billion dollars a year to you and your co-workers would disagree. Unlike CLEC customers, we don’t have good choices.
Maybe “Windstream isn’t a prison” for employees; maybe it is. For small town customers, it sure is.
The CLEC carries the ILEC traffic....hard to just spin that off
They bankruptcy hearings begin today and end in November. Depending if you are an ILEC or CLEC customer will determine your future. The ILEC side is considered a utility and cannot close the doors by law. The CLEC side of the business will be spun off with other assets. My guess is that won't happen until Jan of 2020.
By that time all 5 of the crooks on the executive will have been paid out their KEIP bonuses. The board and executives will vanish soon after that.
How long will employees lie to customers about how bad things have become.
Nothing gets done bc there’s no one left to do it.
hopefully not much longer.
Windstream needs to disappear as soon as possible.
Only the Mastermind behind this plan knows the answer. It is all a well planned strategy that is playing out just how they were planning it to. Hollywood could make a movie out of the Windstream demise.
Once the crooks at the top get their bonuses. Hopefully soon.
