My former role at Pearson was eliminated, I was laid off a month ago, and I’ve applied for another open position with Pearson. I am guessing that if I get it, I will be starting as a new employee again with none of the seniority in regard to yearly vacation time that I acquired in my former role. Has anyone experienced this? Is it worth trying to negotiate getting that seniority back upon rehire, if I do get an offer? Is it even possible to get it back?
I am also wondering if I get rehired, would I have the same username in the Pearson system, would the folders I created to organize emails and Google Drive files be saved, and would my Neo information be saved? Or is that all wiped clean when a position is terminated?
