However you want to spin it, Windstream is done. They are the absolute last resort carrier of choice bc of their reputation. They can spin it however they want to, and Shame on anyone who listens to them.
Of course they’re going to tell you everything is good because they have to. They can’t tell you the truth.
And all Windstream management had to do was get permission from the bond holders prior to spinning off the assets to CSAL (AKA UNIT) plain and simple.
But Leadership could not be bothered with this minor detail (probably lacked any incentive to do their jobs) or were trying to beat tax code changes. Who knows.
But we do know who keeps getting rewarded for absolute failure; Leadership and BoD. I would really like to express my feelings about this fiasco to Leadership and BoD in person, but they rarely show their faces as of late.
Judgement day if UMB gets their motion approved. Honestly it can't come fast enough something has to give...
