Who won the arm wrestling contest? As an outsider, I’d assume it was Land with the victory, because as we all know, Land is the lifeblood of the E&P industry, and especially SWN, with all of their “stacked pay potential” plays. Without them, you’d have nothing and would not be able to “crack the code”. 💪🏼💪🏼

Howdy! A SWNtard lifer here! I’m confused about whether the Land folks are the real deal. I’m in IT, and I’d like to arm wrestle all the Land guys for department bragging rights, tomorrow morning in the Market! Egg frittata’s on me! I’d invite an HSE person to arm wrestle too, but their former limp wristed “joker on 6”, didn’t raise any lapdogs that are up for the “challenge”. Sleep tight, Land folks!
Delusional that Land is safe. Land is why we have a $2.20 stock. Only ones safe are Way and his hand picked leaders! Thank you Mr Way for your leadership!
Land is surely safe! We are what makes this industry tick. Without us, you’d have nothing. We’re clearly the brains behind a successful E&P company. In fact, I’m going to buy a new car today because my job is safe! I can just tell the loan officer I’m in Land and they just throw me the keys!
Based on the evidence my coworker and I have seen we believe layoffs will happen no later than August 15th. Best wishes all!
Unfortunately, IT is not safe. According to a person I spoke with, several in IT will be let go which they need to be anyway. They are just a couple of s— ups!
Layoffs or a re-org after earnings call? Starting to wonder if execs don’t get “retired” and admin groups see a fewer layoffs. Those closest to wellhead will see more layoffs than admin!

IT and Land are safe? So is SWN trying to become a high tech leasing agency now? I can see an even spread of layoffs company wide. There’s no more room to drill in WV, so what’s the use for Land. IT? If there’s no one left to push for more advanced analytical software IT won’t survive. Where’s the logic behind these assumptions?
Let’s be serious people. These are dire times and layoffs will happen AGAIN!! IT and Land are safe!!! All others will see layoffs!!!

I’m outside the company, any talk of laying down rigs? seems ridiculous to drill into this price environment, further suggesting layoffs
Hopefully it will not drop below $2. I think if it stays above $2, there won’t be any layoffs.
Could not sleep last night. Layoffs will be rough up here. SWN is a great company so any help will be needed to keep my job.
Just got off the phone with a co-worker. She is certain based on upcoming work that layoffs will happen early August. Neither one of us can be without a job as single parents. Thought we were done wIth layoffs. Oh my!!

Yup, i seen the plane go to Aspen a few times and wondered “wtf?”. Our leaders just being in it for themselves. Golly gee and stuff.
Go lookup on various website the tail number to our company planes and all the locations that are not ours that money could save jobs instead of layoffs next month. Those planes aren’t cheap but when it comes to layoffs us dedicated employees pay the price with our career and get unemployment with no severance cause we have execs “jet” everywhere
The board and Way & Co will continue to milk this company for the outrageous compensation they earn and perks like flying on the company jet, until there is nothing left.

Way tells everyone that they need to ‘own it’ but he doesn’t own anything. He’s a fake and a liar. He’s doesn’t hold himself accountable for sh_t.
Why are we working our a$$es off only to see our shareholder value evaporate. Our CEO and BOD are weak.
Please do not expect a good exit package this time.
Terminations are confirmed for early August. Way signed the approval. Shareholders are demanding some change. Way doesn’t think it’s his issue at all! I heard it straight from his lips in a meeting. Just changed phones so they can’t track me. Covert ops in practice. Thank you and stay tuned over the weekend.

Once I get my layoff package in early August I will have time to ghost write for this mag on SWN. How a great company went from upper $30s in stock price a few years ago straight to the loo!
