From all indicators, the day after our August 7th earnings call is primed for next round of layoffs. Have seen managers prepare for our next round of pink slips or “retirements”!

The PA regulatory star CS pulled the same stuff at Range and Atlas. Not well liked at either outfit or respected.
Hmm amity and prosperity could mean a RANGE of things. Why think any dead weight would be cut. Seams we are committed to keeping the norm?
Totally agree with last post. CS was “loud” in NE and since being in the Spring office is even “louder”. Reminds me of that what do you call it when a bird leaves a mess on your windshield? Hmm. Help?!
How CS has not been “retired” yet is unreal. Maybe CS is part of the August layoffs. Oh, anyone have some Windex and paper towels we can clean spring office with?

Folks! Meeting yesterday was sobering to say the least! Well, since we’ve being doing this for 3-4 years now, maybe not as sobering. Layoffs are close. Since many of the departments were wiped out last time, it’s going to be more of an even sweep across the board it appears. With the stock continuing to bottom out, there is more pressure than ever. HR is working on organizing this effort, and it will happen this summer. Wish I had better news. Sorry.
Previous poster. Just be warned, we’re on to you. Personal phone or not, we know you were posting to this site. We will be tracking your electronic activity and will know when you reveal to your coworkers the schedule and impact of layoffs. Mr Way has instructed that we dedicate someone to track you at all times, even if you’re not a millennial frequenting the Market and all of their fresh offerings.
Ok folks, I’m getting a bit more clarity on the early August G&A cuts. I’m in a meeting this morning that will touch on this. Stay tuned. A lot of depressed people coming in here. Don’t worry, I’m posting this on my personal phone, so they can’t track me. I’ll post later with more details and timeframes.
23% seems a little high. My sources telling me 19-21%, focusing on dead weight. Cronies need not worry. Way will buy back stock. Inflate his own mid year bonus.
By end of 3Q, 17-23% less headcount appears to be where we are headed.
