Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

I don't know what it is.

I can't quite out a finger on it but the people I work with in my department are some of the most boring, farty and lack-luster people I've ever met.

I mean, I get that the job is boring and the company has a lot of older employees, but shieeeeet. That being said, the people here are about as dynamic as King Syrup.

When I first started here, I was somewhat honored. I thought only smart, capable people could land a job at such a well-known company. As it turns out, it seems the company attracts those who just want 'mediocre'.

To the original poster, King syrup is very dynamic and can be used in many recipes....look it up.

The execs get their huge pay and big packages no matter what. They are held accountable like employees. Employees are the ones who get cheated out of raises and cost of living raises while the Senior Management and Management make the big bucks for putting into place what McKinsey recommends.

Well yeah, if there's like one person on a team who get assigned most of the work while the new hires are doing the same manual, outdated, thing for years, of course the new hires will get bored. Are you expecting me, in the year 2019, to still act inspired by stagnation in the workplace? Simply pretending to be efficient based on old metrics and practices which were developed from the industrial revolution? Lol

that is what I think about some of the younger, new hires. They have zero personality....appear to be very lazy or bored....I suspect they could not find jobs elsewhere or some senior level person was doing their parents a favor. The Company is in big trouble if they are the future of AIG.
