Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Bye my fellow CVS FS store managers

After 11 long years with CVS the last 6 as an SM in California. I have accepted a new position outside of retail. I gave my 30 day notice today as I did not want to burn bridges. I searched hard and long for the right job and finally found one. I will now be making more money with a better work life balance, M-F 8-5 no holidays no weekends. I just wanted to let the people know who are not happy with the company or their position that there is more out there for FS managers. It took me around 5 months to find the right job after a ton of interviews. As a SM you have work ethic and experience that other companies are looking for but you have to get out there and pound the ground. CVS is changing and I did not want to be part of the rat race anymore. I wish everyone luck and hope you find something more beneficial to your health and satisfaction.

Full of c-ap , nobody wants to hire a Cvs manager . You have no skill set . Stay where you are at . Your stores are a joke and lower conditions than a Dollar general

Congratulations and all the best in your new life. Just make sure you let them stick it to you before you stick it to them...get your flu shot before you leave!
