It’s been a little over five years since the first major round of layoffs occurred at target. After that there were many of us that got on this site and shared information and got quite a bit information and support. There was a lot of anxiety once the second round of major layoffs occurred, I still watched the site for quite a while. There were a lot of jokes about transformation etc. Then over the next several years target really did start to transform, it was a different environment that is much more performance driven. Honestly, people aren’t as happy to work at target anymore, I know I’m not, but the proof is in the pudding. Sales have grown, stores have been remodeled, other retailers have gone down the toilet etc. Today the stock is at 109+ over double two years ago and I am cashing out. 31 years at bullseye now self promoted to guest!

performance driven my left nut it was all about profits after the canada fiasco they have cut into the bone and s—ing on the marrow and don't care who they hurt in the process from the IT issues to the faulty supply chains to the register issue this summer(they blamed nrc) and over half the company can't do ecommerce at an acceptable level the list goes on and on target can't get anything right but they know how to screw their employees that they have a patent on
I'll bet the OP is sitting on fat stacks after 31 years. The 90's were some crazy stock split $$$ for our stock options.
