RSU vesting till last working day?

If an employee resigns and his/her last working day ends say on 20th October, will the RSUs due to be vested on that day get vested?

Do not, I repeat, do not share with HR your future plans. One guy was laid off and was given a package. He quickly found a new job and asked HR if he could start early. They took the package back. Qualcomm HR is so corrupt and of course led by the queen of corrupt. Do not work with HR.

Why dont you talk to your new employer and explain your vesting situation to them. More than likely they will be willing to give you the time you need to ensure the best possible transition.

Tell them you're going to apple and get 2 weeks paid for doing nothing. It's the best way to go. Wish I'd done it that way.

You are not under any compulsion to inform your management or HR of what company you're going to next when you resign, so just don't say anything if asked.

There is a chance that you might get walked out but I think that it's an incredibly rare event, particularly if you don't tell anyone where you're going to next.

In some ways, it would be nice to get walked out. You will still get paid for your two weeks notice and you don't have to do any handover tasks! Win win.

As soon as you announce your resignation you could be walked out (especially if you are leaving for a competitor like Mac or intel).Sobto be really safe best to send resignation after stock vests.

October 20th is a sunday. People usually end on a friday. But seriously look at your prior vesting events and see at what point your rsus were released.
