District sent 30 people to a relocated store that isn't even open because a guy from Corporate came to see the store. Spent hours needlessly. should have gone to the old store to review the LACK OF ANYTHING ON SHELVES FOR CUSTOMERS. Layoffs!

Be at payroll or you are fired! That’s been the message all year. Of course, this is not coming from the DL. The guy is being fed that BS above him. You really think the DL’s are coming up with this BS? They are merely trying to appease someone above them and so on.
But now, the message is getting cloudy. The layers of useless management tell us to spend as much money possible to make our stores look perfect. You better say carepass and flu shot at least 100 times. Why the change? Kevin Hourican’s son goes to UVA.
So Mr. Hourican, I have a few thoughts. Why not fly and actually pay for coach like everyone else instead of using the company jet to visit your son and justifying it by visiting stores? Take the money in fuel costs for the corporate jet and place into the stores. The payroll will then make the stores look perfect and increase your bonus and pay for the ticket. Everyone wins.
Anyone with a quarter brain from corporate should know it’s a show.
If they don’t there is no future for this company. Fake store is just like fake news.
