It would be easier for them and for us. This constant pressure of coming to work thinking it could be your last day is really affecting, not just the morale of the employees but it’s already showing its negative impacts on the work. Wouldn’t it be much better if we knew where we stand?

Because the true numbers would scare the living daylights out of those still working and they want to fly under the radar of various states WARN acts or attract the attention of the EEOC for age discrimination. Deathly afraid of lawsuits.

I suspect it has more to do with how to the numbers, and that is probably just a qtr by qtr guess? no point in doing all at once, just do it each qtr so as to show how well managed they are? LOL
They would much rather frustrate you to the point where you find another job and quit. That way, no severance. Ain't that right big D!
