It's where you work as a loyal employee for 25 years with the intention of retiring some day, then the company pulls the rug out from under you at the most critical time.

GSR=General Scapegoat Role. You do the work. Get blamed for everything. Managers sit back and go to meetings all day.

MR, SCR, PSR, and E-band also differed in the executive lease car program.

MR : 1 car per year
SCR : 2 cars per year
etc.

GSR, MR, SCR, PSR, E-Band were compensation bands mostly focused on variable compensation differences.

Grades 9 and 10 were Management Roll (MR) and the variable compensation was mostly based on company performance.

Grades 11 and 12 were Supplemental Compensation Role (SCR) and the variable compensation was split between corporate and personal performance. The variable compensation amount was about double MR.

And Grade 13 was Private Salary Roll (PSR) and the variable compensation was based on personal performance. The variable compensation amount was about double SCR.

E-band about doubled the SCR variable compensation and also had a supplemental retirement program that paid salary for life once you had 10 years of service at that band.

This is correct:

General Salary Roll - not a leadership band, but salaried (not hourly).

The highest GSR band is 8. College graduates tend to start at a GSR 5 or 6 band and can be promoted one band a year, but usually promoted every two years. Once at band 8 there is no other promotions unless promoted to LL6 ( use to be GSR 9 and 10). LL are leadership levels. The lowest is 6. The highest is 1.

GSR is a general salary role. They are not management. They are the people who do all of the work!
