Don't listen to the "leadership" that was there for the Software "town hall" . They were planning who goes (about half). They arent replacing (not in US or EMEA). Get ready to pick up the slack. You may get offered a few extra Rupee because you are "key" but its to help pick up the extra work. Don't fall for it....get out now.

pbzc - would agree with one small exception. India works hard but just arent very good and arent very driven. Melville isnt very good and is lazy and would add GV to this.
We could debate on the software quality done by the India teams, but at least we can all agree that the India team is working extremely hard while the melville team is sleeping on their desks doing absolutely nothing (except blaming others)
oznb - go check out the other thread about your "game changers" . Its actually entertaining how they list out the failed "game changers".
oytm - again with the game changers...lol MV and GV S*** , we agree. its just that the India talent s—s even worse. Example: you had TCC handed to you and it got even more screwed up. Once outsourcing to india started years ago thats when innovation stopped and c-ap software and products started being released. Apologies to point that out.

Those people in Melville are rowdy sheeters and are preventing the company from succeeding and they need to kindly adjust forthrightly their anti Bangalore behavior and do the needful especially in hardware and software as they cannot deliver currently. The rest is fine and new game changers are in the works
Everyone in the company knows that golden valley and Melville have cannot produce software or hardware anymore and this is why the leadership Believe it is needed to have an appropriate leadership revert to Bangalore to lead and design and write the appropriate code for the company to provide game changer devices.
engineer in GV and Melville are reason no products get done. India has better architects and developers and can design better equipments.

I have heard big cuts are coming. They are trying to do some level of planning and still make the deadlines "leadership" wants to start cutting. One of the issues they have now is HR folks are quitting in droves.... which says a lot

False rumors. Per exec leadership, India is very smart , able to lead IOT and cloud and there should not be any lay-off in that location. Melville and EMEA should get more cut as they are viewed as less performant than India
The replacements for US and EMEA are visa transfers from India , mostly in Melville in management positions and project management. No reverts in India
