What do we know about Sears points scam

I noticed that the point distributions went from weekly to monthly in the latest promos. That is a scam if you ask me because they know the end is very, very close and if I go spend $300 to get $150 in points, paid out over 10 months, I'm probably only going to see maybe $45 or $60 of that payout. I'm not doing any of the new points deals. I've been doing all the weekly ones, but I've noticed nothing is getting restocked at my local stores, so the stuff to use my points on is dwindling rapidly and not even weekly payouts are attractivr anymore. They're getting to the point where they can't even GIVE the stuff away.
Ya I don't think it's a scam just a trash retail strategy that isn't being supportive by the lack of IT staff....unless you're talking about the data collecting system AKA SYW, they are planning on probably selling off all that data, but the rewards and incremental rewards are there to spend every month if you buy stuff they do give you the points

I think OP is trying to say that Shop Your Way is a scam. "A better mouse trap."
