I am looking for a good, fun job and someone on Facebook told me to come here to find out.
I've heard mixed things so I hope I can get some real answers here.
Thanks

YES! A resounding thumbs up. Barnes & Noble is great. You'll be amongst books (if you love to read) and make great friends. PLUS ...... there isa new owner who is making things even better, Definitely apply and you'll have a good experience.
You have more job security at Taco Bell, squeezing the sour cream on the burritos ! And, you’d be doing a more important job !
Just read the latest job reviews on Indeed.com, everyone hates this company!
NO
NO IT’S NOT !
Have you read these posts ? You’re posting here, so you must’ve read some of them.
How many times does someone have to tell you, that you ask them ?
Lousy company, and they don't care or respect about your life outside work. They want you to be "flexible", but not them. You are there to serve them. If you're going to school or have a 2nd job, you have to go through h**l and high water to get them to be "respectful" of it.
Depends on which store you're at, and if they've retained any of the old bookstore culture, which is highly unlikely at this point.
Expect whatever you'd expect from working at any other large retailer in America. Low pay, no benefits, constant badgering about sales and no compensation for good performance.
Things got horrible around 2008 and when that stupid tablet came out. Every year after that got worse and worse. People at my store are only working there until they can find something better. They hate the management and are miserable!
Can you read ?!
Back in the old days, it was about the best job you could have in retail.
Sorry, but you missed the boat by, what, five years?
Assuming you can read.
This MUST be a joke.
By all means get a job there . You & BN deserve each other .youre both full of it.
Can you read ?!
What do you think ?!
