Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Where could the layoffs happen next?

Ib don’t see much rumors lately on this site. Is it possible that there is no info or at least some speculation on where could the layoffs happen next? Hrd for me to think that all is quiet.

The role of CEO and upper management should be outsourced to cheaper grunts in lower cost centres of Vietnam - surely they couldn't do any worse.

I'd like to see how well a "gig" economy at Cheap Skate Corp will work when they keep replacing people who know stuff with new pups who do nothing by skype all day, play rubick's cube, go outside to smoke, and generally f–k off. This is common at my Cheat Scam Connive home office.

If DXC Security is in the firing line then that's great news. At my client site 2 of the DXC Security folk are clueless, complain about being very busy but continually play online games using our WiFi. When walking past their desks the 2 Security folks hurriedly minimise the game and maximise some obtuse security document. They should be fired for wasting company and client time. Their incompetence has been noted especially as the level of quality outputs delivered has been abysmal.

I've heard from a senior manager that many teams under build will be targeted, including security.

Layoffs r5000 a quarter last quarter was 3900 so expect an extra 1100 this quarter plus an extra 2500 2 make up the difference in the stock price drop so I anticipate 8500

USA, UK, Australia.

Which roles in those places? Any of them.

From the Q1 call, I'd say another 2500 to go minimum and probably in Q2.

The fact that the Q1 shifts from USA, UK and Australia to low cost centres hasn't actually happened (they got rid of the people but never replaced them - deliberately, with job reqs being shut down) means nothing. The chaos continues unabated!
