It depends on if you do something unethical or illegal a manager tells you to do because he himself is being given unreasonable orders from his boss above him. Loss of your job could be the least of your worries. Work safe and take care of yourself and your peers. UP has paper ethics. They say to do the write thing on paper and talk about sunshine and rainbows in Omaha but then want you to bend the rules to get trains out of time. No grain train in the world is worth getting hurt over.

Go ahead and do your job. Protect the top seniority ones that sit on their arse. When the company wants to get more man-hours out of all the agreement employees, they'll cut. And guess what fellas?
