Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

The real issues are bigger

If you are waiting for the chief to be fired now, don’t hold your breath. While he is a terrible leader for employees, he had been great for investors. Yes, it’s coming to a head and they are losing money, but don’t kid yourself they can lose more. Because they know that, they are hanging in. As for the board, I wish I was a fly on the wall. My guess, most want him fired, but most wont fire him yet. I know it’s hard to imagine, but the stock will fall if he is fired now. So what’s in store is a roll of dice. If performance gets worse he will go but if it stabilizes he will reign again. This company was never a growth story. It’s absolutely about shareholder return. Sorry guys, it’s so obvious if you follow his career story and what happens to CEOs these days. Neonationalism is propelling the rich to get the richer while the middle incomes disappears and lower incomes grow and fight each other all over the world.

Wake up, third world or developing counties aren’t taking our jobs away, CEOs are giving it away aided by our very politicians to make the rich more rich.

If you want to do something, rally around every neighbor and demand your politicians focus on education and the wellbeing of every human being.

ML is failing, all the way to the bank. Even at $33 his holdings are worth over $35 million. He doesn't lose any sleep over the comments on this board. lol!

I have worked for a few Fortune 500 companies, and experienced several CEO's during my carreer- In one Fortune 500 company - I even was a few years in event management in the far past, where I was member of a global group of 5 people who were responsible for the large videoconferences and webcasts that CEO, VP's, ... were doing for their organizations.

So I have had the opportunity to known several CEO's from closeby and work with them - During my event management years I also worked with a CEO, of which I felt - he has the charisma of a wet tablecloth... why am I doing all this effort with cameracrew, servers,... for someone who does not get his message accross??? - and within 11 months , the CEO was out the door.

I know 1 thing, I know a non=performant CEO when I see it, and as soon as I became part of DXC, and followed some webcasts... I knew enough - "get out of here, I do not want to work for this guy!".

1) he has no charisma at all
2) is not able to bring over any kind of energy to the organization3) I only hear a lot of buzz words, but have no idea where they are going to
4) he is extremely arrogant - also to the stakeholders - trump style
5) to me he feels like a psychopath. No empathy.

  • and I can go on and on

So within the year I was gone.

Until now I still believe my intuition was correct.

ML is failing.
Easy to cut things, but he's gone too far too quick and ML's pants are firmly down.
Everyone can see how lickle his w*lly is - theres growth here!

Shareprice trends lower because major shareholders have cashed out their losses.
Lets see how long DXC can keep buying back the shares. THEY'VE PREPARED LONG ENOUGH FOR IT
