Managers are awesome

Get some managers who treat people like people. Yelling, cussing, etc doesn't promote work.

Managers that are liked by the employees because they treat them with respect don't last long. Because like the employees they dislike the Shop Director. If they don't transfer to escape on their own, the f— head Director will see to them being forced to transfer.

Hate to break it to you but no self respecting college graduate is going to come work for Union Pacific as a manager in 2019. They know it’s an overflowing septic tank.

What do you expect for a company that doesn't require a high school diploma? A GED is all you need to succeed at the UP! If you can actually breathe on your own, make stupid decisions, threaten employees, be a bully, and say DUH once in a while then you get to be a manager. If you can bury your nose neck deep into a managers a55, and include all of the above, then you get to be a director. If you can't do any of those listed, exercise common sense, have a moral sense of decency, be kind to your fellow workers, actually give a damn about your work, and move the trains, then you get to be the next furlough! Enjoy!

It takes you three minutes to pour a cup of coffee? Must be awfully thick coffee. Try the thinner stuff. It will taste better, take less time to pour and your manager won’t be so frustrated with how slow you are. Unless of course you’re slow at everything you do. If you are... I can’t help you.
