the increment is amazing. i even got my promotion this year. looks like plenty of good years ahead for seagate
Is half as good as this time last year and almost on par with 6 months ago.

Extremely happy with my package. Everybody I know in various depts also satisfied. I suspect the posters saying they got peanuts don't even work for Seagate.

3rxm. I agree with your post. Why not just announce a percentage and get on with it. I know it is a technology company but I should not need elaborate math to figure out a simple bonus. Quality metrics and key contributors and partially funded and holding back from mid year and then if your manager thinks you are worthy 😂
Still trying to figure out why the hand waving mumbo jumbo to determine the funding amount. Just announce a bonus and give a base percentage number, so we can quit asking around to see who got more or less. The rest is a distraction. Quality metrics is a joke. I think we all go above and beyond to ensure a quality product. Penalizing everyone for things out of their control is just dumb.
Excited for what?? The people at the top who do the least and fxxked up the company will get the most. We at the bottom will get token gestures and made to feel grateful.Small profit share and small pay rise wont make me or anybody else work harder,in fact it may do the opposite.

Not really. This is going to be followed by 10 percent pay cuts as they have done in the past. Our tech, strategy, and leadership are taking us nowhere. Just need to keep activist investors happy as the company continues to shrink. Next stop, 2b in quarterly revenue.
