Thread regarding Anadarko Petroleum Corp. layoffs

Traffic at APC reflects employee morale

Without the scientific help of the prestigious AAET tools and methods, a simple minded person with thick glasses may see that the traffic in APC's layoff board is couple of times heavier (including the responses gets higher) than the occidental board.

On the positive side that may mean that when the dust settles, employees are actually able to work and focus without griping and venting. So if you go thru the tunnel and don't get hit by the train it maybe ok on the other side or at least on par with the other companies that are listed in this board and don't have an actual layoff or similar excitement.

On APC side goes without saying and fancy AAET algorithms that personnel is anxious about what's coming, thirsty for information (eventhough we get rumors most of the time here), vents frustrations, seeks encouragement from fellow blue left on the island watching the cruise ship sailing away with EC team wasting their millions at the c-sino or reading another book from the club library (whatever rocks their boat I guess).

The Conoco site (one example of a comparable to Oxy size company) has a similar number of visits and comments with the Oxy site. The future then after the dust settles and for the remaining employees will be a typical E&P company.

The way I understand, OP is trying to say this:
This forum board is more visited then the one for Occidental layoffs, so things could turn out for the better (for the ones who survive the merger). But maybe I’m reading it wrong.

It was generated by a bot, grow up and learn to spot low intelligence "AI". Half this site is driven by bots, that's why they were invented.

It's pretty easily decipherable it just doesn't provide any new information. The TL;DR is simply "Guess what, we all still work in a currently beaten-down industry and it s—s, partly due to commodity price but mostly due to executive incompetence. But hey at least they still pay us."
