I know that there’s an always-present danger of office closures at SF, but I wanted to ask has there been any talk or rumors about could any other location (or locations) be closed shortly, making this a wave of office closures, so to speak? Are they going to stop with the Irvine closure at this point?

Close em all!
Miami just got their official closure date, 8/31/20.
Bakefield is closing in 2021. My spouse worked in the Petaluma Satellite office for 6.5 years after they closed (and realized they screwed up) the Rohnert Park Northern CA regional office. First they said it was tied to Bakefield, then they said, oops, too bad, we're closing you 10/31/18. They did, without a second thought.
Birmingham will close before Concordville. I’d expect Birmingham to be on the next list of closures.
No, Concordville will be on next list/announcement. Remember SF no longer owns the building-they just lease it. Easy to leave.
Do you think Concordville will be safe. They just put several million into the building. Any thoughts?
There is a whole list of future office closing, including Bakersfield in another year or two. Now that Aug 31 is coming up I would expect the next round of offices to be added to the closure list. We still have 12 or so old-style regional/zone offices (Concordville, Newark, Charlottesville, Lincoln, Balston Spa, etc....) that will eventually be on the list if the goal of moving everything to Phoenix, Dallas and Atlanta is still the plan.
The things is, rumors are just that. When SF makes announcements, we here it first and it’s quickly made public. Usually well in advance of the actual effective date.
