Lay us all off or announce who gets to stay at the company. Don;t know about you but this state of limbo where we’re awaiting to get cut every day we arrive to work is pure torture. People say that we’re lucky to have a job and a paycheck, but i'm not sure getting laid off is the worse solution.

Just heard that they are starting to offer vsp's to persons over 50 with 5 years or more. Heard it from a person over 50 with 5 years or more who was offered a package
So... Anadarko people are hard to squash with this change of control policy. Does that mean oxy heads will be cheaper to chop?
Unfortunately you'll probably be waiting quite a bit longer. Big decisions that revolve around lots of personnel aren't often given much forethought.
I didn't realize that Oxy employees are in panic mode. Is everyone in your department or business unit feeling the same?
Has the VSP been offered to Oxy employees 55+ yet?
Loving watching all this from my nice secure job in Dallas. I remember what Oxy was like and the kind of people they employ. Love watching this implosion as this sort of thing always eats in on itself.
