Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

The Golden Goose . . . .

Who has been asleep at the wheel?

DXC: We've told UK government that up to 2,150 heads could roll in latest job cuts (on a UK headcount of 8,000)
https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/06/21/unitedxcjob_cuts/

So can the 'digital' golden goose continue to lay?

Brexit will fail!
If the next 100 days are not catastrophic, the next 100 days will be completely unknown.
Protect 'The Union' and strength you job, revoke referendum result. So much for it being easy and no funds for NHS.

The UK has much more to worry about than DXC lay-off. Your vote on the EU exit will be the death of financial stability for the U.K.

so you still believe in Fairy Tales . . . . I hope this has a happy ending, current leadership shows little interest in communicating a strategy and seems only able to resort in cost cutting activity.

I don’t think the goose was ever golden tbh. It had been ill for quite some. Time and then became a dead duck after its food source dried up.

Of course Mikey still tells analysts how the ‘digital goose’ is a lovely goose, with beautiful plumage and that if it wasn’t nailed down by legacy it would be off: Voom!

No looks like staff going down to 6000- more WFR likely to follow in the future and more offices, no more mobile / remote workers - until Chorley and Newcastle are the ones that are left and then more cuts / downsizing then.
