Peace out people. The Bay Area people are definitely in denial or lazy or rich or got heavy retention $. If you are in sales in a remote town I understand moving elsewhere is not easy.

Dude, are you dumb? Haven’t you been reading these past messages for last one year? Are you in denial? What strategy are you looking for? The strategy IS to reduce headcount. The management left will also be let go in next round. The Legacy business cannot be grown any more. So need to run it with fewest people from India.

In my area they seem to have cut operational people who were delivering but retained management layers, I don't understand the strategy here - looking outside in earnest now.

They've definitely cut work in my department, amazingly there is still fat to be trimmed on my team

Is the work getting cut also? Can’t imagine same workload with 30% less people.

And those who start leaving on their own won't be back filled, if the past is any indicator.

Small interim cuts are possible with a major move coming after Q3 to cut costs and streamline the SH business. Just an opinion.

River Bed has been dead for years as soon as they got bought by private equity. The goal is to milk existing support contracts dry and let products die.
