I was talking to the IT Director out of Twinsburg. She told me that the IT VP handed down the ok for her to recall 4 of her people who were let go in the past 12 months. I don't know how they will be chosen, or what the terms will be as far as wages and senority goes? Rumor has it they will be some of the IT HELPDESK people who were canned last Oct. Time will tell I guess, but I do know SB was in charge of that group so she should know.

WIN Helpless Desk was pathetic when they were US-based - and that is no lie. By all means lets bring some of them back...LOL. Am sure the short lady in IT has all her favs lined up. Good luck to them all.
Hmmm, so IBM isn't providing the resources needed? What's that all about? The dumb–s management having second thoughts on the debacle they created trying to outsource all of IT in a matter of months?
If you could come back, HR would likely bridge your time – it would be as if you never left.
It would also be the time to negotiate a raise, as the majority of employees don't seem to get one.
And, you know that you can work just hard enough to keep your job. No need to bust you azz for these mo–ns.

I hope the twinsburg IT director never reads this site – or her boss! Seems like everything is parroted right here. Maybe she should start posting..
Nobody cares. Most of those let go are probably already working again - For companies with better benefits and no Chap 11 hanging over their head.
If they got a severance package, they may have to pay it all back if they are called back in less than 1 year after being let go.
