To those who are sitting around 'waiting' for a payoff my advice is don't. I went through it many years ago while my colleagues stayed behind waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting.
The bitterness set in, they got no pay-rises, and they waited some more, no promotions - basically career on ice for a decade.
Then they finally got the payout, which was far less than what they would have made in decent pay over the course of the decade and came into a workforce less skilled and on much less competitive pay grades.
Wake up and smell the ethanol, TB will bleed you to the point of extinction before casting you aside like a withered prune. No one owes you anything except yourself....
Get out, get motivated, and get on with your lives.
