Riverbed APM is not competitive at all unless your customer remembers Hedzup. Beyond them, everyone else moved on.
Competitive APM product..! Good try. That comment was probably was written by a product manager who gives green light for any attribute we can be ranked against.
customers only know 3 APM vendors and one isn’t is. Our Competitors in EUE have a more effective marketing comms team than we do. So, yeah the two are great, just we aren’t there. What do we do? Why do you say "free ride"? It's a very capable and competitive apm product but riverbed's network-focused sales team didn't know how to sell it and it got lost in all the cross-bu marketing. With an EUEM/APM focused sales and marketing organization selling to the right buyers, it can generate a lot of revenue.
