They are coming up with a way to cut more heads and justify it with the union and public. The one piece flow will slow down production so much that the company will have to layoff more members. The plant will be operating with 250 people at most after another couple waves of layoffs. Culp did say another $1.6 billion in cuts coming to Power. Get ready for more layoffs in the very near future. It probably will happen after this next contract after we get the sc_~wed again.

You're very talented
I have a new motto for Schenectady.
"One piece flow means more people out the dooh!"
😄
Putting words in others' mouths is a low blow and you know it.
You did not do the accent. Or you don't know how to do it?
Culp just spent a full week in Greenville as part of a lean workout. That plus his history of doing the same at Danaher demonstrates Lean is not a publicity stunt.
Leaning Schenectady out of jobs is next. Good luck. GE Plans on Slowing the production line down to a snails crawl.
@ZyObvYs-loy, you are correct, ignore the other posts as they are "waste", just trying to protect their jobs
You will thrive when you get rid of Bakerhughes. Roll on July
No leader of any merit is free of those doubts.
Replying to your own post is so gauche.
I think all of this "Lean" talk is just a publicity stunt to attract naive investors. There will be major cuts in Power, that were already planned well in advance, so it can be said that the lean events were successful. "The waste was found so we're taking care of It." We can all sing, "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow".
