No more doubletime folks

I guess Drahi had to cut somewhere after the acquisition of Cheddar and Sotheby .

Every day worker does not matter to Altice . More cuts to come ?

Hahaaahaha double time. Your kidding right. You have to get permission just to stay an finish your route. They want no o.t. just going to back fill with our new friends. Double time. That's laughable. How about just make sure we have enough work for the day an not take installs worth more money from us an give it to them.

You guys are worried about double time, but not your career. When the courts have moved forward with Dolan’s case against Altice about just with “news 12”, trust me these guys are doing way more illegal things. Wake Up people!!

Thank you. Couldn’t agree with you more. I know all IBEW 1049 members were called and asked if they wanted to work DT on July 4th. They were also all called for Memorial Day as well. Every holiday as well as sometimes on reg 2nd day off. What are you guys waiting for? Stop the bleeding! BTW there are already techs filing grievances with the union & I heard they have very strong cases against the company. Don’t forget to enforce your Weingarten Rights whenever you feel that it will lead to discipline. Don’t be intimidated by supervisors & their supervisors. Once you request union representation they have to stop & honor the request. If they don’t, you should make the union aware ASAP, cause they most likely just violated your rights.

Unless you work for AUSA the only VRP you will get is a layoff. 2 weeks for every year with a Max 1 year payout. That is untill they take that policy away from you as well.

I just wish they just offer the VRP. Many of the old timers are sick and tired of the games already and ready for a change but Altice will only give it to certain groups or departments. Why not make it fair and give it to everyone who qualifies

But yet it is still available to the IBEW 1049 contract employee's,it's written in the contract and has been agreed apon. Same old song and dance,you know what you gotta do. How much longer are you going to let them find ways to take more away from you?

Unfortunately having an agreement in the form of a union contract is the only way to work here now, Some piece of mind till a new career path outside of ATS comes along.
